How to Recover Hidden File from Pendrive ???

Now a days the most of the people using the USB drive instead of Compact disc because it is more versatile ,small in size and high speed data transformation. But sometimes unfortunately the pendrive got affected by Virus.

And also I explained about to clear the Virus using Command Prompt in my previous post Click here, eventhough you clearing the virus  all the files in the pendrive got hidden some people thought that data’s are vanished.

To recover the hidden files just follow my steps.

Process:

1.After clearing the virus you open the usb drive , sometimes it shows empty but data’s are occupied on your usb drive.

2.Open My computer From menu bar à Toolsà Folder optionà Viewà Click hidden files,folders & drives  and  untick  hide protected operating system files (recommended) à click Yes à Apply àOk.

Note: Some PC Menu bar got hided ,for those click Organize à Layout à Tick menu bar.

3. Now open your usb drive  sure you will find your  folders and files with some     

    default Operating system files. It is strongly recommended that  Copy only your files      and folders  to any drive ,don’t copy or delete OS files.

4. It is very Important after copying your files &folders  Undo the Step 2. i.e restore the default settings.

5. Format your pendrive for better use.
