friends I already told about Pendrive
plays an vital role in our day to day life ,because of its salient
features such as more versatile ,small in size and high speed data
transformation. But sometimes while formatting your Pendrive it displays the message Windows unable
to format.

Some
people using the USB drive to install the Linux OS , after that their pendrive
shows only Less space
For example: 4 gb pendrive shows only 1mb size or less
than that. Because the Linux OS files occupied in it and therefore pendrive
volume get shrunk.
Just
follow my steps to Recover your USB drive to its original volume.
Process:
CHOICE 1:
1
. Insert your USB drive and close
autoplay.
2.
Goto Command Prompt by typing cmd in Start menu search box.
3.
Type the command (Only bold words)
Format<space>/FS:FAT32<space>L:
Note: leave space correctly. Here L is my USB drive letter.
4. Wait for few minutes after completing 100% your pendrive
recoverd to its original volume.
CHOICE 2:
1
. Insert your USB drive and close
autoplay.
2.
Goto Command Prompt by typing cmd in Start menu search box.
3.
Type the following commands (only bold
words) in the your command prompt window and press enter for each
command.
ü Diskpart Run Disk partition utility
ü List disk To get disk index that is used to
perform disk partitioning.
ü Select disk 1 Selects disk to perform disk
partitioning.
ü Clean Flush your existing all USB
drive’s partitions.
ü Create partition primary Creates a partition as primary
partition.
ü Format recommended Format your USB drive with
recommended parameters.
( The above step tooks 15 min to format your USB ,wait
until it completes 100 %)
4. That’s all your pendrive will be
recovered to its original volume.
5. Once again format your USB drive
using usual method.
