How to Create PC as Wi-fi hotspot Using Command Prompt ???

Most of the people using the internet by different sources such as  Wi-fi modem, LAN Connection, and mobile Wi-fi Hotspot. But some people asking that Is it possible to act PC as Wi-fi Hotspot ?

Here I’m going to explain this process using Command Prompt.

Process:

You first ensure that you having wi-fi drivers for your PC. Without Wi-fi drivers we can’t perform the operations.

1.     You can check the availability of Wi-fi drivers using the command prompt.

2.     Gotoà Startàtype cmd à make right click and choose Run as Administratorà Yes. Now Command Prompt window will appear.

3.     Type netsh wlan show drivers and press enter , find Hosted network supported : Yes ( wi-fi driver available). If No ( wi-fi driver Unavailable ).

First we need to create Wi-fi Hotspot Profile

1.     Type netsh  wlan  set  hostednetwork  mode=allow  ssid=k.abdul  key=abcdefghijklm

Note:   (i)  Leave space correctly.

            (ii)  ssid is username. &  key is Password (you may give your name and own password).

           (iii).the password must be more than 8 character and it should be a string.

Secondly We see how to Activate & De-activate the Wi-fi Hotspot.

1.     Type netsh  wlan  start  hostednetwork  to Activate Wi-fi hotspot

2.Type netsh  wlan  stop  hostednetwork  to De-Activate Wi-fi hotspot
